Oilseed Crushing and Conditioning
Once cleaned, the oilseeds are then sent to the Oilseed Conditioner for further processing. Here the machinery increases the moisture and temperature of the oilseeds to soften them. Those oilseeds with more rigid structures and lower moisture content are then processed into powder by the oilseed flaking mill. After treatment by Oilseed Conditioner, the oilseeds are conferred with the ideal pliability for the flaking process. Due to the differing characteristics among various oilseed types, the conditioners utilize mechanisms to adjust heat and moisture levels.
